Dr. Snow is a board certified general and colon and rectal surgeon. A graduate of MIT, he earned his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1982. He completed his internship at the New England Deaconess Hospital in Boston and residency at Albany Medical Center. Dr. Snow then did a colon and rectal fellowship at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Erie, Pa.
Dr. Snow is a Fellow of both the American Board of Surgeons and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and belongs to multiple surgical societies
Dr. Snow is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Florida International University. He assists in the training of both medical students and physician assistants through didactic lectures, procedure labs and direct patient care
Dr. Snow has travelled around the country lecturing on general surgery and colon and rectal topics.
A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Snow has spent his entire professional career in South Florida. Active in hospital medical staff leadership throughout his career, Dr. Snow has served on many committees for the Memorial Healthcare System and is past Chief of Staff at Memorial Pembroke Hospital. Dr. Snow’s areas of expertise include minimally invasive colon resections, colon and rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis and anorectal disorders such as hemorrhoids, fissures and fistulas.
