Dr. Mallis is a board certified general and laparoscopic surgeon. His undergraduate degree was a B.S. in Physics from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He attended medical school in Philadelphia at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before pursuing his surgical residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He also completed a surgical clerkship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
He specializes in minimally invasive surgery for all gastrointestinal and oncologic diseases with a special interest in hernias secondary to his extensive sporting background. He is the Former Chief of Surgery at West Boca Medical Center as well as participating on many hospital committees. He is an active member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
His involvement in professional organizations keeps him informed of new developments and techniques. He provides his patients with the best options for their individual condition.
